Course Description

Atomic Structure Class 11 Course For CBSE

Atoms combine to form molecules, which at that point interact to form solids, gases, or fluids. Atoms comprise of three fundamental particles: protons, electrons, and neutrons. The nucleus of the atom contains the protons and the neutrons. The protons and neutrons make up the nucleus of the atom, which is surrounded by the electrons belonging to the atom. The peripheral areas of the atom are called electron shells and contain the electrons.

What is Atomic Structure?

Atomic Structure is the basic building blocks of matter. It is the arrangement of atoms in molecules and crystals.

Atomic structure is the fundamental physical and chemical property of atoms and molecules. It describes the way an atom is built up from a nucleus of protons and neutrons. The nucleus can hold either positive (or "cation") or negative (or "anion") electrons.
