Overview
Course Description

These organisms are made out of an underground root system and an overground shoot system. Tissues are the collection of cells that have a common origin and common function. The plant tissues are classified into two main types based on their capacity to divide: meristematic tissue and permanent tissue. Plant cells are shaped at meristems, and after that form into cell types which are grouped into tissues. Plants have just three tissue types: 1) Dermal 2) Ground and 3) Vascular.
