Course Description

Leatn what is polarization for Class 11 Physics

There are various methods to produce plane polarised light from unpolarised light. The instrument that produces polarized light from unpolarized light is called polariser. Polaroid is a plane sheet containing a thin plastic-like sheet, made of long chains of molecules aligned in a particular direction. Polarization, in physics, is characterized as a phenomenon caused because of the wave idea of electromagnetic radiation. Polarisation is nothing but transforming unpolarized light into polarised light.
