The compound is a pure substance comprised of at least two components consolidated chemically in a definite ratio. Pure substances consist of only one component with particular physical and chemical properties and distinct composition. Pure substances can be classified into elements and compounds. Features are pure substances, which are made up of only one kind of atom and cannot be further reduced to simpler substances. All the constituent particles of a pure substance have the same chemical nature. It can't be isolated into different sorts of matter by any physical procedure.
